Doors

Since I’m back in the good ol’ academic swing of things, today’s door is of my favorite academic bookstore.  Really, it’s the storefront for an academic publishing house, but let’s not split hairs.

 

We also got some great photos from inside, which I’m hoping we’ll be able to post later.  Linds, who’s still back in the States, has them on her computer.

Doors

We’ve been meaning for a while to put this up, but until now we just didn’t get around to it.  It’s the first post in a new category of blog posts we’ll be titling: Doors.

We’re not going to write too terribly much about these “doors,” (posting details like the addresses seems rather creepy, as some are simply the doors of individual’s homes/apartments) but we will give some brief explanation about when we found them or if they’re a part of a specific place or landmark.  Since they’re quicker to write and easy to post, we’ll throw up our favorite doors throughout the week, independent of our Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule.

Isn’t she purdy?  This doorway leads to the university International Students Office, so we pass it almost every day.  It wasn’t until we got a particularly sunshiney day that we even noticed how pretty the arches and wrought iron really were.
